Each transition in Research and Development is different and the success strongly depends upon the specifics of the change and the technical challenges. Nevertheless, many transitions fall into one of the categories listed here. This serves as a starting point for the change process.
Transformation
Increase the effectiveness of your Research and Development by aligning the organization structure, processes and tools to your strategic goals
Focus Shift
Adapt to changing demands by determining the future portfolio, assessing what competences are required and organizing the change.
Acquisition & Integration
Work successfully with new teams and partners by organizing for the strategic value, aligning tools & processes and focusing on the first successes.
Reorganization
Optimize your organization by introducing up-to-date development practices & tools and streamlining the teams.
Depending upon your needs I can support you in different roles. We will agree on this upfront such that all stake holders have a good understanding of my role and objective.
Change Manager
As a change manager I lead the change program in close interaction and alignment with all stake holders. The change team consists of technical specialists, team members and their managers. The goal is reached when the standing organization has adopted the changes.
Interim Manager
As an interim manager I fulfill a management position temporarily. In this role I focus on the change program next to the regular responsibilities of the position. The goal is reached when a successor can take over after the change has been established.
Facilitator & Coach
As a facilitator and coach I bring in my expertise and facilitate steps in your change process, e.g. in workshops or by intervision. The goal is reached when my expertise helps you in your change process.
